Official Gun Thread

So I added a magazine extension to my 12 gauge today. It now holds 9+1. It's carbon fiber so it's light weight also. Had to make a part to alter the stock tube though. The stock tube has 2 small dimples in it to hold the spring in and the dimples have to be popped out. A couple companies make the tool to do it but when you work in a machine shop you make your own.

Purchased Magpul MOE M-LOK Handguard Carbine-Length for my AR15. It will be replacing the standard M4 carbine type plastic hand guards. :thumbsup:

Also purchased a 36" carbine case (soft).
 
Went to inquire about this gem but found out there’s a 20+ Week lead time.

There's been places around here getting in ammo but the prices are ridiculously high. I've got a decent amount of 9mm but wouldn't mind having more.

Yeah I don't have a ton.

500 rounds of 9mm
400 rounds of 223
2000 rounds of .22

Wish it was a lot more.. but definitely not paying $1/round or whatever they are going for around here..
 
some people around here get lucky going to academy sports when they open on delivery days and get some at decent prices
 
Damn! Bass Pro around here has had stock and not crazy (still expensive) expensive.

Think 556 was going for $.45/round

I've been looking at shotguns (not a fan of pump) so I was looking at the Citadel Boss 25 12-gauge shotgun. Well I'm on MD Shooters forum and also a buddy is on there. He sent me a link to a FS ad where a guy was selling one and local to us. It was BNIB. Still wrapped in plastic. The old guy that was selling it bought it a few months ago but decided to put that money for the shotgun towards another AR15.

Brand new they are going for $430 + tax = basically $455. He sold it to me for $350. Included 1 box (10 rounds) of ammo.

Not bad.

I'd link to a site for the gun but I'm on my work laptop and shouldn't be searching for guns lol
