Reviving this. Mariners won an epic game yesterday to go to the ALCS. Anybody else watch the marathon?

Saw a highlight vid of the game. That roar of the crowd on the last hit was amazing.
 
Yeah it was. Wife and I bought tickets for game 5 of the ALCS should they have it. Blows my ITS mod budget.
 
I was about to bump this thread. That was crazy! Definitely rooting for them the rest of the way.

I was going to look up tickets... but I checked the flight and it's $768 for just me (wife loved your stadium and would want to go but wouldn't be able to since she's caring for her mom).

Upper Deck tickets are around $340/each. Not as bad as I thought.

Flight + Tickets = $2,200 ish plus a hotel plus food... :sadbanana:
 
We got club level tickets. They were $536 a pop. Accounting for tax, title, licensing, and fees…I need to work 12 hours a day for the week so I can take a half day Friday for the 3:00 game, should the Mariners not sweep the Jays…and I can recoup some of the costs. Oh, wifey wants easy in and out access to the stadium, so we have a driver who will take us in and out.

12 hour days to take a 1/2 day on Friday? **** that. Just take time off? I couldn't have a job like that regardless of what they paid me.
 
Mariners won 6-2! Solo homer by Raleigh and grand slam by Geno Suarez in the 8th inning. Back to Toronto.

Seattle has never been this close to the World Series. Cool to watch and be a part of it.
 
Well, it’s going a full 7 games.

I guess I’ll be okay with whatever outcome, but M’s should win.

Mariners have never played a do-or-die game 7 ALCS game in 49 years of the organization existing.
Dan Wilson is only in his first full year of managing.
Mariners are putting together good pieces. The guys need to mature a bit from plate approach. They’ve got the pop, just need the discipline.

No. Too rich for my blood. Looked the other day and it was nearly $1800 per seat for standing room only tickets. If you wanted a seat, that was north of $2000.
