(NewsCore) - An Ohio mom arrested last month for spraying deputies with her own breast milk pleaded guilty Friday to two misdemeanor charges, The Columbus Dispatch reported.
Stephanie Robinette, 30, pleaded guilty to two of the five misdemeanors she had been charged with -- assault and obstruction of official business. She had also been charged with resisting arrest, domestic violence and disorderly conduct after she allegedly sprayed deputies with the bodily fluid as they tried to detain her in Delaware County on June 25.
The bust-up happened when police were called to domestic dispute involving Robinette, who has a nine-month-old child, and her husband. He told police she had gotten drunk during a wedding and had hit him several times before locking herself in a car, The Dispatch reported.
When police approached, Robinette told deputies she was a breastfeeding mother -- before reportedly illustrating the fact by slipping her right breast from her dress and unleashing a blast of milk.
Robinette, a teacher, is expected to receive a suspended jail sentence and probation at her August sentencing hearing, her attorney, Brad Koffel, said.
"Stephanie knew that this is a pretty major episode and she wanted to do whatever she could to reduce further damage to her reputation and she wanted to get on with her life," Koffel said. "And the next best step in that direction was to plead guilty to a couple of misdemeanors."
