Hey everyone so I'm trying to figure out what to do for my parking brake cover. I know the stuff parking brake cover and the rubber show in black. In my opinion that doesn't compliment the car is aesthetics inside. There's nothing as a replacement online either, so I was thinking of just taking it off. Completely how far is it to do?

Just an FYI .... As for removing covers/boots from things like gear shifters/parking brakes........ I've taken a few off just for the purpose of working under it or replacing them with a new one, and in most cases once the boots are off there is(or could be) an air-let that's un-wanted.
I'd be leaning more for a replacement rather than leaving it off........... But, I haven't had one off of my Civic(too new).......
Just saying don't destroy the old one if you take it off.

Hey there thanks for getting back to me. You know I know I haven't decided on a final decision yet, but I mean come on the stock OEM even break blue cover is kind of hideous for a car that supposed to look like a race car actually it does look like a race car but the boot looks ridiculous freedom of the shift is nice and red stitched leather the parking brake boot cover's black rubber shell... Basically, I'm just trying to think of any viable alternatives.

Why not take it to a leather shop and have whatever color leather/suede you want?

@Dar-Dar may live in your area. Know of a leather shop dar?
Marlboro is way south from me. Lol. And no, I don't know any leather shops. I would assume that there are a bunch in South NJ.

I've been in contact with redlinegoods.com regarding a new part fror the 8thgens which is a leather e-brake handle cover. They need an entire assembly of the e-brake to make that part. :/

@eric.schwartz. , maybe you can contact redlinegoods.com and request for a new part for them to make. They'll need a test vehicle though.

That's not a bad idea. Thank you so much for the suggestion. Hello someone home from work this morning, I was thinking to myself as far as the parking brake handle boot is concerned, it's really all one piece except for the titanium silver brake handle. They don't meet halfway. Which makes it hard for a company to design something for it if you know what I mean.
