I tried the harness, but was unable to get it to work. The resistors must be rated differently. ? I don't think it would work if I cut off these resistors and hooked them up the way you are suggesting, but am not 100% sure on that .If you aren't planning on using/selling the harness, you can just cut the resistors off of it and wire those into the highs.
Hmmmmm.....I guess I missed that part.I remember when I first set up my HIDs, the instructions said to have them on for at least 10 minutes when they first turn on.
One fuse for each. They were okay. Everything is working now.Did your wire harness have 1 or 2 fuses? Some have an independent fuse for each side. Maybe worth checking to see if they are ok
No. Actually it didn't work without the relay but when I hooked them up with the relay immediately afterwards they worked. I don't know why because I had them hooked up exactly the same way I had them before. The ballast chip must have reset. ?Thought it was only working without the harness?
I put a blue vinyl overlay on them.Is that the natural fog colour or did you do an overlay to make them more blue? My LEDs are a white/blue but I love the deeper blue you got there
I might have to steal that from you :P I did that to my stock DRLs but never thought about the fogs!!!I put a blue vinyl overlay on them.
Just want to put LEDs in the signals. Do you know which load rating I need for the resistors?Gotta get some switchback parking lights now
If you're interested I may be selling my current LED switchbacks, if i like the new ones I orderedJust want to put LEDs in the signals. Do you know which load rating I need for the resistors?
Possibly. I need to learn about how these work and options how they can be wired. If you're interested I may be selling my current LED switchbacks, if i like the new ones I ordered
Essentially it's just a bulb replacement. They are chipped to understand parking lights and signals so they always flash amber for signals and stay white for parking lights. All you need to wire is resistors or they will hyper flash but they will still work finePossibly. I need to learn about how these work and options how they can be wired.
