2013 touring edition/EX-L stock with all the fake bling. Lol.

Like a lot of you out there. I hate all the chrome that honda has slapped on the refreshed si and R18 sedans. Mainly the non si's which have this hideous grinning chrome bar that almost goes the full width of the car. I have a touring model which I bought in October 2013 and within two weeks I'd plasti dipped all the chrome on the front end as a quick fix till spring when I could actually vinyl it with the warmer weather. Even blacked out I still couldn't stand the shape of the garnish piece the fog lights where the only thing I did like unfortunately it wasn't enough. I've always liked the si bumper cause it had less chrome and was more aggressive looking so I ended up swapping out the R18 stuff with the si pieces. Anyways here it is. A few pics of my progression. Please post your pics so others can see how much nicer the civic looks blacked out and how honda should have made the civic.

That looks nice. Good job. :thumb:

We need more pics!

Yeah man. Theirs a little trick to take if the chrome off. Cause theirs so many of them. But I'm a pro at removing the trims and the bumper. Lol

Looks great. Haven't vinyled the rear chrome yet. How hard is it. I know I had a hell of a time doing the front grille the fog light pieces where a breeze.
My buddy did it for me lol I don't have the patience haha he said it was hella easy though

Did u use gloss black? I'm in no rush to do it. So the rear it doesn't bother me that much it was mainly the front that bothered me.

Yesterday I decided to de-chrome the rear chrome garnish I wanted to use vinyl but run out of it when I did the front. So it's temporary till I buy more vinyl.
