The sound that you don't like in there probably is because of the straight pipe. Maybe a small resonator before the flowsound would break up that rasp and not cost you much. If you had it done at a muffler shop they'd know.
 
Rasp is mainly caused by too large piping and a crappy muffler, and a resonator should help knock out the rasp....

I say this because I have 2 inch cat-back to a si muffler with no resonator and I have no rasp
 
I don't know i like the sound actually lots of people like the sound around me.
