Shift Knob & Boot Removal

Hey guys! I've been searching and I can't find a DYI anywhere. All I see is, "turn it until it comes off" and "there's plastic clips to pop the boot off", kinda vague, and like anyone else I wouldn't want to break anything just guessing. Can anyone point me to a DYI or a somewhat detailed explanation as to how. Thanks!
