Hey guys! I’m trying to replace my base bushings and in order to access the last one we needed to remove the shifter cable. We unclipped the white tab and spun it counter clockwise for almost a full rotation. It then clicked back into place and now it won’t rotate at all. How do we get the cable/black piece unstuck?! Thanks!

If the locking collar snaps back into place with full force from the spring, the collar will become tougher to loosen up again. Try using a set of pliers or channel locks with light pressure to release the locking collars once more.
