Si VS Mother Nature

We have had our 2012 Civic Si for about 45 days or so and have been pretty anal about cleaning it and keeping it's appearance top notch. But alas last night Mother nature decided she wanted to throw hard ball sized balls of ice at it, Now we have a dent in the middle of the roof and a couple of dents in the middle of the hood.
My daughter and i ran out soon as we heard the hail start and put some blankets on the car and covered it with the car cover but i guess we were too late by that time as there were already a couple of dents.
Have no fear thou my Ford F-150 which was parked beside it in the driveway didn't encounter a single hail dent.
Go Figure!

Don't know if the paint less dent repairs will remove these lil dents or what, guess i will have to phone the insurance company this morning

I had this happen to my '07 Si, and the paintless dent repair fixed everything like new. It will just be a hassle until it's fixed and over.

I also had a F250, and '03 Pilot outside too, and neither had a mark on them. Only the Civic got dinged.

Hope you can get everything fixed up as quickly as possible.

Ugh! Sorry to hear about this one. Usually dent repair shops have people that specialize in hail damage. I know the one here in Nova Scotia travels all over Canada to do repairs of only that nature. He does amazing work and makes the cars look like the day they were shipped. I am sure you will have the same results!

I wouldn't have ran out there to cover it. Wouldnt risk my life!

I've had this happen to me. Hailed like 3 years ago. Went through insurance and she was fine.

We had a big hail storm roll through about a month ago, before I had my Civic. My Fit got the worst damage, probably 20 dents I could see. My Subaru had a few, my Ford truck had none. But you can't even tell after they've been fixed, the paintless places can do a great job.

The civics have pretty soft roof/hood.
