Wrap them in newspaper or bubble wrap, go to USPS and put in a flat rate priority box they provide there, walk to counter with address filled out, profit!
 
Shipping is pretty easy. Just find a box that is big enough. Get the shipping label from USPS.com, print it, and tape it on the box. And it is optional for you to drop it off to the post office or leave it in your mailbox for the mailman to pick up.

where is local? 951 area code aint mass, upstate ny, or vt i know that :(
 
They'd probably fit fine in a $5-6 dollar USPS box.
 
USPS boxes are free. Lol.
 
Small flat rate box is $5.60 in the US. Even if you ship it in your own box, the weight is going to be very minimal.
