I have a sub and my plastics rear deck keeps rattling. What did u guys do to stop that ?

most have blamed rattling around the trunk latch itself. You're saying the plastic deck back by the rear glass is rattling? Do you have any sound deadening products in the trunk at all?

Yes
yes I've added fatmat and it stopped a lot in the trunk lid. But the plastic likes rattle bad. Any good ideas

Did you add any to the metal frame under the plastic deck ...from inside the trunk?

I put a little but I have a w7 so there's a lot of air that pushes up.

They rattle at the very back edge of the plastic dash cover where it meets the glass. That whole shelf flexes easily which makes the plastic deck cover vibrate against the rear glass. Solution is to take the plastic deck cover out and wrap the back edge in foam or something that can absorb the impact against the glass.

The Civic is notorious for rattles. Mine started rattling within the first week! Honda replaced seat belt components in the back seat at the rear deck and that helped some. After my stereo was upgraded, the entire trunk and rear deck was lined in dynamat. That helped a lot. Also, get some small rubber feet and attach them to the back of your license plate. That will stop the license plate from rattling. That also helps when you close your trunk without that obnoxious rattle of the license plate.
