People here are just jealous of the SRT-4 awesome speed, even the new R model Honda isn't as fast. I could barely keep up with the srt-4 in my Honda Si which has 120HP less. Just find a rare one with no rust and 75,000 miles and throw a big turbo on it and even stock turbo is faster than Honda's with all the slow emission stuff CA put on it. Be Glad Triumph did the right thing and through out CA EPA rules. So Yes go get the SRT-4, you will piss off a lot of slow Honda's with fart cans.:fistpump::turbobananapoke::spaz: Now why did honda screw with that emission head on the k24-it would have so much extra HP? And I will help you build SRT-4 up it too which would be Great. Oh I still have a neon too but with 68k on it.

that was mw driving srt-4, I am surprised to have finished. Must have been a stock srt-4, none of them stay that way. Srt-4 has a fine racing history.:bowdownsit:

And to think the srt-4 does over 160+ in 100% stock form. I do think the Honda r model is any faster , in fact I know it isn't. Its got .4 l more engine and is not set up to monitor gas but use gas instead as in 30 min the whole 12.5 gals tank is gone at 6,000 rpm at 6500 rpm even less time to empty. 15 years old and still unbeaten LOL!

Yeah the new type r is so slow it's breaking lap records all over.

All you need is a a big turbo on a SRT-4, it comes with a cast iron racing block. honda comes with alloy alu block turn the boost up and boom, no more honda engine. R good on a curvy road due to better suspension, honda engine will fail long before SRT-4 motor will when you add:bunny: boost. So called 600HP stock block engine's go boom. There I win again. SRT-4 engine are all ways at full power and vtec is not. I bought a honda SI because it's got no rust and the inside is nicer, if I spent $6,000 on a turbo or SC it could be faster as long as the boost doesn't go over 12.8 safely and the rpm's stay below 6900. Honda engine's are best NA not best at boost. I have seen a lot of Honda engine blow up, very few SRT-4 do the same. A very expensive mistake to over boost a honda. :badger::box::fistpump::lildevil: These are no 1000HP stock Honda's. SRT-4 has a excellent racing record too. Honda a better everyday Car-the DD. I do like my honda si and are going to see how much power I can make with CAI+ exhaust change with a tune. It won't be the same car when I am though. The salt eat my SRT-4 and lowered cars don't work well on rough roads, it had to go to the guardsman who was very happy to get it.:popcorn:

I will take a look at that book too. Sun Tzu was one of the greatest General to ever live. I don't think he ever lost any battles and knew every government is full of liar's. Unfortunately china is still using his teaching's and is winning constantly. :bleh:

Just proved how limited your thinking is. If I followed you thinking, I would run my honda on a high boost turbo and end up with my hood smoking with holes in it. the only engine I ever blew up[ was vw bug. I also fail to see any cars you working on. A fact is not a fact till its been proven. I still haven't found out what a stock honda engine is actually made of without buying a special build book. the SRT-4 engine info is available anywhere. What is honda hiding? I don't really need that info but would be nice to see. I suppose you read label and think its 100% true too until someone takes it to a lab and finds out the label is a lie. I never say my info is correct that's for someone to find out them self's.
 
I am on 18 lbs of boost right now, sooo....

I plan to get to 20lbs or more once my new boost controller comes in. My AEM gauge failed causing over boost issues.

Don’t do it! Honda’s can only take “12.8” lbs of boost according to wolf! Wherever he got that idea.

I never say my info is correct that's for someone to find out them self's.
You repeatedly say the srt engines are the greatest things ever made, and they don’t blow up, and they’re faster than the type r. You’re stating that as fact. I’ve shown you repeatedly, the r beat the srt on the Nurburgring and set lap records for fwd cars at all of those tracks, yet you still say the srt is faster. That’s spreading false info.
 
Well so few people here are actually putting on turbo's, at 18pds how much HP is that? At 20 how much HP? is this on a stock k24? I think you roasted your 4 gear, once. Does this mean 5th gear is ok. I know very little about these honda tranny's. I still wonder what the actual limits of the stock engine as you only have one and that goes so does a ton of dough. maybe utube would have some answer's. SRT-4 is a faster drag car not a Germany track car. some of my info won't work if set up special condition's. Goes for honda too. this is what happens when you turn my cable tv off.:banana whip2:
