Supercharged Hyundai Genesis Coupe Hurricane to Hit SEMA Show

Hyundai_Genesis_Coupe_SC_1.jpg

If one thing's for sure, Hyundai will have a strong presence at this year's edition of the SEMA aftermarket show in Las Vegas in November. The South Korean automaker, which has already shown us two Veloster tuning proposals, has now released details on another project, this time based on the Genesis Coupe V6.

The Genesis Coupe Hurricane SC was developed by Hyundai America Technical Center Inc. (HATCI) in cooperation with Magnuson Products, Rhys Millen Racing, Harman International and Torvec Inc.

UPDATE: in post #6 Below

So, considering the picture posted, this is for the current gen Genesis and not the new, upcoming 2012 model, correct?

Maybe....that one pic onlie with the SC on the motor is of that model posted above.

it didn't specify the year in the article, so I'm not sure. What I've read is the new car is going to be unveiled at the LA auto show in November.

Here is the Vid:

Named the Genesis Coupe Hurricane SC, the prototype is the result of a two year development effort of Hyundai America Technical Center Inc. (HATCI) in cooperation with Magnuson Products, Rhys Millen Racing, Harman International and Torvec Inc.

mucho nice...
