soo my slicks are done lol. I want to switch to drag radials now so that I can actually use them on the streets. I went with toyo r888 but now I need to know if this size will be perfect to go with rota slipstreams 15X8 40 offset. Size of the tires are Toyo R888 235/50ZR15 94W

8" is 203mm, so a 235 will be meaty. It'll essentially be a 1/2" wider than your rim on each side.

Do you think it will look weird on the car or essentially look just like this ?image.jpg

look pretty much like that. You'll just have some actual tread on the tires lol

As far as size, yes they are similar to the slicks. Did you already order these? The r888 is a road race tire more than a drag radial.

Only problem is that drag radials have limited 15" sizes. Did you look at the mickey Thompson or nitto options?

This is the look I'm looking for image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

I was thinking about going with Mickey Thompson but I can't find a set that'll fit. I heard r888 are great radials.

so i bit the bullet and ordered the r888's...hopefully they look beefy lol

Idk they look small too me. Not enough beefy , opinions?
