ya seems kinda pointless when the Si already has that feature built in to the dash with the vtec light tbh
and a shift light is silly anyways. I dont shift at the same RPM everytime I drive, sometimes you wanna rev it out, sometimes the car is cold and you wanna keep the revs low
i thought the whole point of a manual transmission was you get to decide when to shift? this is one step towards an automatic transmission if you think about it lol. car is telling you when to shift instead of the driver making that choice based on engine load and driving circumstances
