I don't understand why my pads look like this. They're nowhere near done.
 
Yup, Rear suspension failure from either the endlink or toe rod while accelerating and a little back end slide causing the drivers side tire to toe in and put me into a small curb and then a drainage basin

$#&^% Dang Nathan... sorry to hear about that. But hey, at least it's not the Honda, right.

Seems you have three options.

1) Torch it, collect insurance money, go to jail.

2) Fix it up right .. really right... and be under water deeper than you are.

3) Sell it for less than what you've put into it. (Which never happens to any of us!)

We feel your pain brother.
 
Good news on the Dragon meet: Mike @PainIs4ThaWeak has agreed to join us this September. He sold the NSX (sweet ride if there ever was one) but has a nice Lexus to replace it. Lives in Charlotte now and is looking to do a quick trip in early May. Probably a weekend thing. Send him a PM if you might be able to join him.

I love this car too much and hard to find a decent one at a good price. 2009 Pontiac G8 GT.

I am fixing the car by myself. New toe rods and trailing arms aftermarket and stronger, new radiator, bumper and fog lights... There is no frame damage or other suspension damage.
 
Hey, @07TLX.... only an '09? Lots of life left in that thing. So that's good news on the frame... and DYI is the way to go.
 
On one of our longer meets we started the festivities in north GA near Blood Mountain, staying here the first night: http://www.copperheadlodge.com

It's still just $20 per person/nt in their "bunk room". Keep it in mind if you ever need a place to crash on the cheap.

Thanks Bruce. Hope everyone is doing well. This is what I've replaced the NSX with ('15 RC-F), and will be bringing with me in Sept.

Only mods so far is an Invidia exhaust, Bridgestone RE71Rs, and Endless MX72 pads.
