Hi all,
New to forums. After a good price, I decided to just by a 2012 Honda Civic that is in like new condition. My question is relating to an indicator light that just came up today after 4th day of owning it. It is a blue temp light stating temp is cold. Is this normal? Note that I'm in Florida and while it almost never gets cold here, today it happened to get low at 65F and it just so happens it is the first time it has lit up.

I have owned many new cars to current year and never seen this before. It does go away after about a minute or less but just wanted your thoughts if this is normal? Sorry, I typically only buy new and is first car I buy used in many many years.

Thanks,

That's normal. It will come on when the engine is first started. It normally goes away after a few minutes of driving. Maybe longer depending on where you live. Up here in The Great White North it can take a bit longer.

Temp icon is normal. It'll normally go away within a min or two of driving.
