tire pressure sensors?

:think: so its true that traction control cannot be shut off if the sensors arent there ?

ok so since my buddy has his off his is an ex sedan so in place of traction its econ for him so i take it his econ still works huh lol .

not good for si owners then .....ok its settled im buying a new set of sensors this week and i dont have rims yet lol but when i decide which one's their getting put in .
 
econ will still work... just traction cannot be disabled.

From what I understand, you'll have to have the new ones activated. The ecu can only keep track of four discreet sensors in its memory at a time. So every time you change wheels, you have to deactivate/reactivate. Apparently, every sensor has a unique id.
 
yep my dealer told me that ...a trip to your dealer to program everytime you swap rims ...but negleted to metion that traction control wont work if you opt out on sensors for after markets Boooooooooooooooo !

no T/C is like a guy that cant get it up anymore lol........once that happens its just not fun anymore lol.

Meh. Get the wheels put on by Discount Tire or something. They'll reprogram your sensors when you swap your wheels for free. Dealer is a rip. all they need to do is plug into OBD2, put rfid machine to learn sensor and viola, you are fixed up for free.
