Would this work? I have a 2012 Civic LX and it has 15" wheels and the TSX wheels are 17". The bolt pattern is the same but my question is how will this affect my car and will it work?

Yes, it will fit/work. Those wheels won't affect your car except that it will make your car look nicer. :DYou just have to make sure that you have the correct sized tires.

The wheels have tires on them. Looks like some brand new Michelin tires. Not sure what size but stock for a TSX is 225/50/17. Is that an okay size? And it won't throw off my mileage or speedometer? Is it just as simple as removing my wheels and putting those on?

Nope, 225/50/17 is too tall for your car. Your speedometer will not get an accurate speed reading. You'll need 215/45/17 tires.

Is there a way to calibrate the speedometer or is the only option different tires?

Nope, the speedometer cannot be re-calibrated. And yes, you'll need to use the recommended tire size.

Well darn guess I'm not getting these. Tires are $800 or I could just get some wheels for $500 or so

I don't think you can recalibrate the spedo to the new tire size, but there are online calculators to show you how much it would be off. It wont be off a huge amount, probably just a couple mph, its just something you would have to be aware of and know how far your off. Ultimatly I would still try to get the 45 series tire as a 50 series tire is probably going to look akward and you might run into rubbing issues if lowered.

I'm just gonna skip out on these and get some stock wheels. I don't usually like any other brands.

Running 50 series tires will also hurt performance in terms of acceleration and braking.
