Meh. I'm just glad he stayed with Subie. After OC, I really can't imagine Nate's overly happy *** not owning a Subaru.

We sometimes get to a point where a fast DD is just pointless and not practical, Nate just got to that point.
I might follow soon if gas goes up higher, and eventually have an S2K for the weekend.

I know that feeling....I hit that wall back in 02 when my wagon got totaled and thats when I got my Corolla and a bike, but I sold the bike and went from there..... I want to get a bike again and semi-fast car...
I am at that point. Sure it's fun to have the power/handling on hand, but for me going to teh grocery store or putting hundreds of miles on the interstate, it's a waste. A comfy DD will win

Now that I'm commuting 20 miles each way (up from 1.2 miles), in Hampton Roads idiot driver mayhem traffic, the gas is killing me. Its costing me about $90-100 a week and I'm broke. Each day, I stare longingly at the motorcycles in the HOV lanes. I think I'm going to have to join their ranks if I extend my orders. This boosted AWD daily deal aint' happening.

That's why I stated that next year at this time I may not have a WRX, that's why I'm gonna order my front sway bar soon and just drive the hell out of it at the dragon.
Honestly, a CRZ or Si would be pretty fun at this time. Maybe a Miata or S2k with another subie beater, we'll see but that will happen later.

Meh.I wouldn't go that far. If I had a hatch, I'd like the versatility. Its like an SUV in miniature.
No matter how expensive gas gets, I'd rather have a neutered Hybrid than an SI. Sorry. I know what happens when you start messing with SIs. The mpgs still drop only now you're tromping on it harder.

Mine still gets between 32-35?
Beacuse you're pretty much stock even with your flashpro and intake. I learned how to kill mpg in an SI real quick with mine. Granted, it was better than either the Z or the WRX but I managed to kill it.

STooooooooooooooooooooooooooP Josh. Stop. Trust me, I had a race header w/ a stock intake (K&N) and a stock catback at one point and the car was still loud.
