We've spent all day trying to find Mike a Subie. Dammit these things are still hard to come by.

wow everyone's pretty busy today also
and gaining fast. the girlie wasn't the fastest, but really no one was on sat. afternoon with all the big bikes that felt entitled to roll 20 deep at 20 mph
look who's behind that Evo...
Wait. Stop the presses. I just figured it out. Damaca is actually Dawn. I looked at the pics on the first page and thought, "Dang, that is Dawn's car". Then, when you mentioned you had had an Si, my slow working brain saw the light. Love it Dawn. So, how is the heartthrob of 8th Gen, the woman who made spaghetti legs out of the men on the site? I still am going to write an "Ode to Dawn" someday. Men's hearts will be fluttering for sure...
I asked for an internet quote to see what they went for...
my equote price was MSRP. Not a penny off sticker. YAYYYY internet manager
Dawn, I am doing amazingly well. Joined the awd brigade like you. That Subie is looking mighty dapper and fetching. How are you doing?Haha! Hi Bill. I don't know about spaghetti. lol. How are you? How's the new ride. Welcome to the AWD thread.
Dawn, the used car market for cars like this is just insane. I pretty much gave up trying to find a used Evo or STi because of the ridiculous prices. Imagine an '08 Evo GSR with 30k miles going for $32K! I just cannot believe how these cars are holding their values. So, Mike is looking for a Subie? Kevin may have to rename this site the 9th Gen Civc/AWD Brigade. We've spent all day trying to find Mike a Subie. Dammit these things are still hard to come by.

You know, they may well be the next Supra. Supposedly, they are supposed to come out with a fina 2012 model of the Evo X, but even that is being debated. This is one reason why I decided to get one now rather than next spring. And, you simply cannot get dealers to budge much on price. I was actually dealing on about 11 Evos around the US. Hub Mitsubishi in Houston was the only one to be willing to slightly drop the price. I bought the car mainly because I have always liked Evos and enjoy the performance that they are capable of. However, if someone wants to give me a princely sum for it, I would part with it and get a Boss 302. But that is another story...From what I hear the Evos are only going to go up, since mitsubishi is stopping production of them. One magazine I was reading said it's the next Supra for collector car value.
