Turbo+ AWD!!!!!

So I was at the tire shop, standing at the counter giving the service guy my info, he heads out to examine the tires (tire wear, size, etc.). When he comes back in, he mentions that my tires have a lot of wear on the outside and maybe I should watch my tire pressures and an alignment might be a good idea. I tell him that I drive aggressively through the corners and race the car. He gives me the blank look of "oh." :rotfl:

Another service guy that I talked to when I had my Maxima, he comes over and starts talking Maxima. I tell him that I had to kill the maxima from my life. he asks what I have now and just then my car is started out in the garage and the echoing begins. I said, "that" :giggle: He then wants to talk about previous gen Legacy 3.0R. After a short discussion, I think he is now wanting the 2.5GT.

1,000 post is approaching for me :woot:

Keith, Im probably gonna get the dws as soon as I can get the exhaust & rsb sold, any worries for the winter? This will be my first set of all seasons instead of true winters in a while

no worries at all. AWD will save the day. (years ago) If my old '84 Tercel wagon with 175/75-13 tires can propel you along with shift on the fly locking hubs, certainly the fancy '11 Subie can get it done :giggle: Two winters ago, I had the '01 Impreza L sedan with cheapass all seasons on there. The car was a tank.

I heard you get a free bowl of soup with your comma. I'll take Chicken Rice soup

Pics from the MS 150 today. Subaru was a sponsor. Like the volunteer cars? I think the Forester and Outbacks are probably the cars of choice for the employees.

It was awesome. I had an absolute blast. The Subaru people are great and love their product as much as we do.

One of the guys I rode with is a tech and has a fully built NA 99 RS that he built himself. Its one of 4 subies he owns including an 11Impreza. The pride runs deep.

If I had the means, I'd have 4 of them also, most was 2 at one time.

I'd love to take my old beater, put a forester suspension on it and do an EG33 swap.

My bad. 3. Damn phone typing. grumblegrumblegrumble.

One of the other guys told me the LegacyGT wasn't very popular and they had a hard time selling it here. Specially the 5 spds and that is why they're rare. At the time, they weren't popular sells in comparison to the Outback. The Outback people wanted an Outback and the Legacy people wanted Legacys. Theyre weren't many "I want the wagon but I want the luxury types..." But he agreed, he loved that car too.

On my rear window, going to remove the POW decal and put on of these on (just ordered). Should look sharp on dark tint
