Turbo+ AWD!!!!!

Ugh I want a WRX the more and more I think about it. I love my Si, I have owned it for close to 3 yrs now and have spent alot of $. But I want more power, and I would go SC since spending 8k-10k for a turbo kit is just not worth it to me. But now I see I need a CMC, clutch needs replaced, cost of blower, tuning, and such I question if its worth doing. I was thinking of parting my car out and would have around 2500k or more, then around tax return have some more money, pay off all my credit card debt, except for one I would still have a balance prolly. The only thing holding me back is I don't know if I want a high car payment. Right now I pay 336$ for the Si that was for 18k OTD financed. I wouldn't want to pay more then 400$ a month. But I would pick up a lightly used WRX 09-11 their going for about 23k with low miles. Its something i keep going back and forth with.
getting out of debt is #1, a new car is #2. Get out of debt ASAP, then look around for what you really want
well thats the thing I would have every credit card except one paid off If I do the trade. I would only have one credit card with a balance of 1700. Or I could pay every card of off and have 0 debt period. But would not have as much to put down on the down payment.

I had my SI 2.5 years. Spent $7k modding it. Put 43k miles on it and traded it in for a Z that I put $4.5k into and drove 16k miles in and then traded in for a WRX.

Well thats the thing. My car needs CMC install, new clutch, new brakes, suspension is squeaking, I am coming into 60k, I just was thinking to abandon ship while the 8th gen value is increased. I am not worried about debt cause I would have it paid off before I trade the car in, leaving 1 CC with a balance which could be paid off easily end of nxt yr. So I dunno I will prolly think some more but I am leaning towards parting the car out.
Wow that sucks.... I am at 105K and I don't have that many problems...
Yea the CMC seems to be commons 2nd gear grinding, pedal popping honda wanted me to pay 550$ to have an OEM installed lol they refused to cover the part under powertrain warranty. They also said my motor mount is torn which I have to check into that since my mounts are injected. But the brake pads need replaced not that bad, the cmc deff does, and clutch is still good enough but its getting weak, and if I went SC it wouldn't last much longer. I dunno I love my car, but at the same time am almost ready to move on tough call :/
I don't have a SI and I am glad cause it seems a lot of people are having cmc issues and brake pads are not that big of a deal I am on my 3rd set so far, I need rotors thou and my suspension has been shot for awhile now...

The engine in mine was hand made by one person in Wixom, and his signature is on it. The entire car is then assembled in Bowling Green. No other "Chevy products" are made in either of these two plants.
yea I have skunk 2 suspension and for w.e the right side rattles and squeaks and I cannot figure out why Its so annoying when driving if my music is turned down. Yea the CMC is crap, and its unreal how honda wont cover a part they made out of plastic, and they know its faulty. They said they would knock off 250$ after making phone calls and I would have 30 days to do it. But I wasn't going to pay 250$ to have another piece of junk installed.
Yea I dont regret modding my car, I like how it sits just dont know what the deal is with the squeaking lol seems people with springs, and coils have the issue. If I got a WRX id go exhaust, downpipe, intake, tune, possibly lower mount IC and such and call it a day.
Trust me I have had my issues... I talked to Honda after stock tires needed to be replaced after 10K miles and the stock brake pads where done at 11K miles and they said sorry but you SOL.....
