Car is at 25k miles, all stock where it counts. I did change the air filter to a non-performance regular air filter about 400 miles back. I bought it at Carquest and was a brand name. I did install it correctly

Am getting what I describe as a turbo whine/whistle. Starts to make noise ~2800 rpm and gets noisier the higher rpm. It appears to only happen at WOT. It is louder when it is colder outside.​

Subaru has heard the issue and wants the car back when it's colder​

possibly a small boost leak, although my car seems to be fine running 17psi, some cars are different and some have reported having boost leaks while stock.

It doesn't sound like a can of marbles at all?

this thread used to be exciting, but everyone lefted, I wonder if I'll still be welcome after I pick up a BRZ next year?

What's the word on the car Keith? Or did the stealership give you the same ol' "could not duplicate" BS?
