Turbo+ AWD!!!!!

I took time off in July for my dragon trip. the plan as I see it right now
Sun 7/24 - Drive to Dragon (stay at Fontana)​
Mon 7/25-Tue 7/26 - Drive the wheels off the car (Dragon, Hellbender, etc.)​
Wed 7/27 - Drive home​

I picked these days as there should be less cars/cycles disturbing my clean runs (and hopefully less popo). Anyone care to join?

I'll also be back there with the 8thCivic group after Labor Day :woot:

still jealous of you making two trips, just so I have a job and an exhaust on the car by then.
 
I want to go in July. Wish I had the time and money. I'd love a day to drive and a day to go rafting. Damn 10 hr drives!
 
stilllll need to decide on tires...... reading about them is getting boring to me, I just don't want them to be loud. I found 235/40R17 star specs for 575 shipped.
 
That's a good price, Josh.

What do RE70's run? They're a good in between summer and all seasons. I'd expect them to be a bit pricey...
 
They're 220 each. So not too bad, it calls them an Ultra High Performance Summer Tire

How long since you saw your dogs? You can always have mine for a few weeks :giggle:

I expect my stock tires to last for the dragon, but you never know my luck I'll hit a nail tomorrow :banghead:
 
I think i'm gonna order Star Specs Jason. Found them for 575 shipped and I don't plan on running these wheels past October. Good IDea?

Um... since I saw you guys in MD. Thats the weekend I left them. :( They're just here for the weekend, then they're headed back up to my mom's.

I got orders with the Navy. I'm getting activated for 3 months. I extended my lease and the dogs might be coming off of it.

Id go for star specs if I wasnt on the highway all the time.

Again, I can tell you do your research. I really don't push my car hard enough to justify them, but the price seems good. What is a good tire? I just want something that I can have fun on entrance ramps with. I'm easy to please. I really don't want to spend that much, but I HATE road noise, so I want something good in that sense. What is a good option? I can go summer or all season, doesn't matter to me.

You might not like the noise, s drives might be better in that sense.
