USB @ Glove Box????

Someone knows what is this USB for that I found at the glove box. It have power but will not communicate with the radio media function.

It's an access port to update the software of the infotainment unit.

it should be connected to your headunit for media playback like ipod etc i got my ipod connected there for music streaming and it works fine and its perfect because the ipod and all the cable mess.. is hidden there lol
