We need more cops that are as calm as this officer

Being a person who has a CCL having more cops like that would be awesome.... Most cops can be a pita when they see a gun....
 
LOL like here in Atlanta they'd probably dogpile you before saying anything :rotfl:
 
I have been out and I have a in the waistband holster and I raised my right hand and my shirt lifted a little and mall cops saw the butt of the gun and next thing I knew I had 5 cops guns draw on me screaming for me to get down and when they found out that I have a license to carry there was no sorry just a lecture about how dangerous keeping a loaded weapon on you is and yada yada yada...

New holster was ordered that night and now you can't tell that I am carrying...

wasn't even an 8th...brought a gun to the big dinner. Had a bunch of people very uneasy and keeping an eye right on him until he left. He didn't really hide it well as he was still trying to tuck it into his pants as he was walking up to our area :pat: Many weren't happy.
 
Yea, I have mine in a Crossbreed IWB and unless you know I carry you can't tell just by looking at me. But then of course I prob wouldn't carry to the big dinner cause its people who I know and trust....I really only carry when I am out with people who I don't know.
 
My family all had a CCL and I'm looking to get one soon also. I just have to be careful as I'm living with Robert who isn't a citizen...and all the possible issues that could cause.
 
That cop is awesome!

He's the kind of cop that people like me (supporters of law enforcement officers) want to be the type of cop that most people think of when they think of the police. Calm, rational, funny and not out to prove something. God bless him! If only some of the younger gung-ho types would take a lesson from him.
 
I felt bullied by a cop here for confronting me and getting rough at 2am for letting my dog go to the bathroom in my front yard :pat:
 
Unfortunately, most police officers I've encountered act very full of themselves. I have been fortunate enough though to meet terrific officers on rare occasions.
 
That one kept trying to get information out of me...like what I was doing "walking the dog" ...where I lived "the house right behind me" ...why i was out so late "The dog had to poop...he's waking my mother up" so he kept starring me down after asking my age...then finally said "okay have a good night." and drove off. I quickly ran into my house so he'd see that is where I lived..lmao

but jeez I had to tell him so many times that the dog had to go to the bathroom...I was in my front yard ffs. Stayed there in the same spot the whole time.
 
It's his right to freak everyone out by carrying a gun and not be cooperative by even identifying himself. I'm sure glad I don't live in a country that condones that.

I'm beyond amazed he didn't get his info and run his name... people called concerned, and he just looked to see if it was currently loaded? What position would the cop been in had this guy walked 2 blocks down the road and opened fire into a crowd of people, or was wanted, or just broke out of jail? Anyone could just say,... I was in the marines, it's my right to carry a gun?

Sure, you can carry a gun, but you need a freaking permit? He didn't provide that or an ID to him and he just let him walk?????
