I am Geotechnical Lab/Field Tech 1... I work for URS in the soils lab and out in the field testing soil.

No formal schooling, been around it my entire life since both of my parents are civil and geotechnical engineers...

I do love my job for the most part, only time I hate it is when they pretty much tell you 11am your driving 3+ hours away to a job tonight so get a hotel and rent the truck now, pack it and while your doing that do this, this, this and this at the same time...

professional student: at Virginia Tech right now, going for masters in Industrial and Systems Engineering, hopefully defending some time within the next two semesters, then 2 more years for PhD in ISE Human Factors

This summer im working as an intern for MedStar Health's National Center for Human Factors Engineering in Healthcare (much like SHIELD in Ironman, were working on finding a way to shorten that)

and i love it all so far

What I do is in my sig. I love my job. I actually consider it a hobby. :D

How do you like working for swift? I've met Jerry Moyes before and know a few of his kids. I always thought being a truck driver would be cool since you get to travel a lot, and see a lot of the open road.

I love working for swift. I've been with them for over a year now and have had no issues with home time, miles, and pay. :)

Desktop and network support for multiple government agencies in Northern Virgina and the Pentagon.
Also a target for upper-management hostilities.
It's both rewarding and utterly frustrating. And it pays well.
