What Kind Of Bulbs?

Thought I'd share this in case anyone else was curious.
 
Mine are 6000k and give off a whitish blue tint. I swapped out my HIDs from my 8th and put them in the 9th.
On my 9th gen:

35watt, 9006, 5000k or 6000k bulbs will be blue (6k more blue). 4300 is pretty much pure white. Oem bulbs from car companies like Acura are 4300k.
 
Ok thanks for the info. I want really blue low beams and white highs. Can I have 8k lows and 5k highs?
 
I don't see why not but I'm not 100% sure on that. I've only ever had 1 set of HIDs in my car at once. You may have to do something to support all the power though.
 
It's not really good to have high beam hid bulbs. It's not good to flash them on/off as it takes a lot of juice, and it takes a while for the bulbs to fully ignite. It will reduce the life of the parts.

Good point I forgot they do take a few seconds to get to full power. I'll just leave my stock highs and I like your 8k, nice and blue. I have some yellow fogs coming in so I think it will look great. I drive on mostly very well light roads so I don't think It'll be to big of a problem with reduced visibility.
 
I know you said the bulbs we need on 9th gens are hb4 9006. Any input on if this would work?

so i have a 9th gen civic SI & im having some trouble finding the right type of HID kit and yellow foggies. im afraid ill buy the wrong sets of lights. can anyone help me? plus i checked out a place and they told me the needed the type of bulbing my car uses for headlights so? help anyone, lol please and thanks!

fogs12V 55 Watt H11 Halogen bulbs

headlight:
Low beam headlights:HB4 which is 9006
High beam headlights:HB3 which is 9005

Hi,

What year is your Si and Sedan or Coupe?
I'm asking because the 13' Si Sedan uses different fog light bulb.

Hi Webby,

13' Si Sedan Fog lights uses 35 Watt H8 bulbs
