XXR Wheels? Good deal or just cheap crap?

haha yess! But the fact that it didn't break. you know that's quality.

i have a friend that drove on a Work wheel for 5km after the tire blew off. he litterally drove ON THE WHEEL. got home, balanced it, drove on it like nothing ever happened :)

It's better than a shattered wheel. Lol. At least you'll still have control of the car with a bent wheel.

You know, as much as I'm a proponent of forged, light-weight wheels, that Evo had to have hit something. I find it almost impossible to believe he was just driving along like a normal person and the wheel just grenaded on him like that.

he was probably racing and hit a wall or something :)

That's a fast Evo. Never go 235 on XXRs. Lol.

It's probably much safer than donked cars with 30" wheels, 4-bolt pattern, and stock brakes.

6 piston Brembo superturismo calipers for front
4 piston Brembo superturismo calipers for rear
14" front slot vented disks
12" rear slot vented disks. would be baller. stop faster than a Ferrari F430. plus i made a ABS bypass switch haha. when i get my 18x9 +25 volk/rays i think these brakes should fit haha

I don't think that was mentioned in your build thread. Lol.

I was wondering if you still had those. I saw your post about it on the other forum. I'm thinking about a big brake kit up front, but certainly not the 6-piston setup, just the 4 will be fine for me, if I even end up doing it at all.

Lol. 6 piston calipers to stop a 2700-2800lb car? :giggle:

think about it... it's like $3400 for 4piston fronts or $3800 for 6 piston fronts.....

if your going that route, spend the extra $400 hahahaha

it doesn't matter how fast you drive or at what road condition, the point is, if your rims or tires fail on you... are you able to stop the vehicle safely.
