Awesome news on the CT charger! Anyone interested in the CT charger should look into my boost by gear setup for those ;)

Stupid noob question here, but does this HAVE to be tuned or does it come with configurations? I'm completely stock BTW

I'm sure there will be basecals that come with it, but it's just that -- a starting point. If you chose to leave the base cal on the car or get tuned at that point is up to you.

Alright!!
I plan on getting the full race exhaust and dp. I already have the reflash but I know flashpro is a must.
I'm new at this, I guess I wouldn't know where to start when mapping..afraid I would ruin the car, lol.
I just dont know what effects what.
Are the base maps usually enough to work off? It'd be sweet to have a daily driver setup(Performance with good mpg) and then like a 1/4 mile track setup. Appreciate any feedback...

colint it says it has base maps. I'm not sure how many base maps are provided at this point (doesn't say). The 8th gen had 50+ base maps to work from based on different mods. I can talk with them
from doug at hondata -

It contains the reflash calibration, large injector calibrations, and it can switch off the misfire codes associated with light flywheels.

With flash pro, you can go locally to get it dyno tuned at a hondata specialist. or if you have just basic mods, the pre loaded tunes should work fine.
With some tuners, you can let them know your specs. and they can email you a tune file. and you just download it into your flash pro. then load it into your car.

You purchase the package and he sends you a starting calibration and he will explain how it works and what to do from there.

It's really easy -- I send you a starting calibration. You load it on your ECU and follow my dataloging instructions. Once you get the log, you email it to me, I review it, send you a new cal to log -- we repeat this cycle until we get the car tuned!
