Ya, 13.8 is pretty ideal. It just depends where it makes power. Vit seems to know what he's doing. I've got a buddy that is world renowned for tuning and I might have him look at it, honestly just to show how good Vit's tuning is.

I really like the way this turned out. I'm wondering if there is (I hope this is not RBC intake heresy) an oem ivtec or similar cover for the injector/intake area, that would mkae it look more stock? Maybe the 8th gen version? And if there's a reason not to use one, chime in, 'cause I don't know this area.

I'm not sure how much higher the 2012+ Si fuel rail is compared to the 2006+ Si's. If it's the same height, you can use the 2006+ Si's IM cover. You'll just need the right bolts for the RBC manifold.

I'm thinking about putting a cover on it to make it look stock, but I don't want one that says "iVTEC 2.0" and I don't want a carbon fiber cover either (as much as I love the look of carbon fiber) as I don't think it'd look very stock. I change my mind a lot, though, so some carbon fiber may find its way into the engine bay eventually.

Yeah, the sticker shouldn't be advertising a different engine. I just don't like looking at the injectors and the wiring for them, myself. Plus, with as much salt spray, etc., that gets into the 9th gen engine bay, the added cover is practical, too (spray gets in at the gap just under the hood line. It shoots straight in. I'm working on a solution, and if it works, I'll post it up).

I don't like seeing 13.8, but the 9th gen O2 sensor sampling is a little slow, making us hunt for the target AFR a bit. That, and we don't have the ability to reindex rpm/load in the calibrations yet (meaning, on some cars you need to fix the fueling at say 5250 rpm, but we only have index 5000 and index 5500 available, so our ability to get it perfect is limited) -- in due time, Hondata will add reindexing.

Can't you take the sticker off of our cover and put it in the 8th gen one?

Hmm...maybe the sticker has a part number and I can just get one at the dealership. I hadn't even thought about that til just now.

Okay, after seeing the 8th forum's ROTM, 1.8L FG KiDd, I have some new inspiration for what's next with my build.

I want to polish my RBC and get a matching polished intake. Still going with the wrinkle black valve cover, and I think a wrinkle black catch can will go nicely with it all.

I'm not getting a catch can for extra crank case ventilation, I'm doing it cause I think it looks better than a little breather filter thingy on my valve cover and I like the idea of routing the valve cover vent to a catch can rather than into the intake air. I'm not exactly sure when this will happen, though. It'd take at least a couple days to shave and polish the manifold, and this is my daily and it's too cold to ride the Buell every day right now.

Doesn't 4130 have a battery relocation bracket that bolts into factory holes? I want something like that.
