The wheels look really good. I probably should have bought the orange ones that someone from Craigslist was selling for $500 last year. I wouldn't have minded orange clown wheels for a summer setup. :giggle:

I debated on the red ones, but I think white will look much better.

The setup is just wider tires/wheels for an improvement in acceleration/braking/handling. It really just depends on the wheel offset for the setup to stick out. I still am planning on getting Michelin Super Sports in 245/40/17 with 17x8 light weight wheels. I still have a lot of time to think about the offset or even the wheel brand (Enkei GTC01 is my top choice right now) since I will be making a purchase by the end of April or May.

This is what the Super Sports look like on a 17x8 OZ Racing Alleggerita.

I hear ya Dar... but how would the tire size you're saying be on the 2012 Si stock rims? How would it look? Would I have to flare the fenders to make it appear normal? If anyone here is running a wide tire i'd love to see some pictures if possible. Thanks Dar and to anyone who answers this.

245/40/17 tires will be too wide for the stock wheels. 235/40/17 tires will fit 7" wide wheels, but that is pushing it.

He had RE-11A's. Same as I. Mine rubbed in a 225 width on a stock size wheel and offset: on the passenger side rear fender only though. The extreme category tires run very wide. Almost a full size.

Hey Squig... you like those tires? You get a good deal? If you don't mind saying... how much were they? Enjoy your day and speak soon.

Tires won't be installed for a few more months. Got them from CostCo for $700 because of a sale. Includes installation, lifetime rotations, repairs, TPMS programming, and nitrogen.

Wow that's a deal! Nice.

What do you think of those dunlop snow tires? I think they were a lot better than the new contis I got this year.
