DIY 2013-2015 Ambient Light Kit

Nomar! The red seats are new to 2014, but the red steering wheel stitching has been since 2012.
I love the color and the new "toys". Finally a great successor to the 2006.
It's made by 3M and it's pretty thick. The good stuff. Comes with an applicator and spray bottle, so it's not entirely overpriced.
I would have posted a DIY, but it's pretty self-explanatory...plus the pictures don't come out well on a white car. Can barely see it, which I guess is the whole...
08P48-TS8-100 is the part number for the Civic Coupe, which should fit your 2012 just fine since the bumper didn't change.

Door Edge Film, Rear Bumper Applique, Red Si Ambient Lights, and Auto Day/Night Mirror installed. Took me five hours for everything.
Hard to tell, but they're there.
No night-shot yet of the ambient lights, so here's some wiring.
Unfortunately, this is how it is with a lot of dealerships. They want to sell you what they have in stock, for the most part.
Keep looking around online for the car you want. You'd be surprised how many dealerships will want to swap vehicles with the other dealer to make the sale.

According to my dealer, it's a done deal. It's just a question of what year it will be released.

Met up with my buddies David (aka @Twistedframe) and Tommy to get an application of CQuartz Finest ceramic paint coating applied to the entire car.
Also installed the OEM Door Visors.

It's red, just a brighter color of red compared to the color used in the Si embroidery. I think pictures tend to exaggerate the color a bit because they don't look orange to me at all.
I wondered why they didn't go with Si-Red, but I'm no interior decorator.
