Sounds like you may have a bad connection between the device and the USB end of the cable. If the iPod USB cable or iPod connector is going bad, it could temporarily cause the very problem you just mentioned.

Although you might be able to change the LED, it looked like you had to break open the sills and cut the wiring...something I was not interested in doing. If you screw up the wiring and they stop working, you likely can't fix it without probably damaging them beyond repair trying to remove them...

Another strike against those spy shots: according to the OEM parts list on CHH, the mirror housing sets for the 2012 and 2013 US models are exactly the same. There appears to be no turn signals on them, which the spy shots are clearly covering.

I'm sure they will, but you'd have two extra sills that you couldn't use and the front sills would be far too short. Not worth it. They're made specifically for the sedan.

If there was anything I didn't want to see as an option for 2013, it was the projectors.
