The "template" is inside the instruction manual, but there have been plenty of people that have said that they never touched the blower cover and the light came through just fine. Just avoid it and see how it goes. Can't hurt.

Of what? Those are the originals. I'm just showing that my originals are non-Si. I haven't installed anything yet, silly.

Although I have a Si, I seem to have the non-Si guards installed already. So I guess they'll fit regardless.

The Si guards have a completely different part number. And now that I'm looking at the installation instructions, the ones I have are not Si-specific and may not fit.

The ones I obtained are supposed to be specific to the Si, although I won't know for sure if they'll fit properly until I install them.
