The 2013 civic supposedly comes with new thicker front stabilizer bar. Anyone know the diameter?

There was also talk about if we increase the frt bar, it will cause more under steer on the 12's....
I think it's a good idea to find what helps the car before just changing parts.... JMH FYI

I agree upgrading the RSB is the better option, I know the rear went up 3mm from honda also. Thinking 'bout it that Progress 22 or 24 RSB sounds like a real upgrade.

Yes, leave the front alone if you are looking to reduce understeer.

Are you saying the rear bar was upgrade as well. Im not sure about that. Although logical.

Upgrading both will make the car feel very planted with less body roll. Probably Hondas goal. Make the car "feel" better and more like it is on rails but without losing any of the built in safety of the understeer. It basically handles the same but with less roll if im explaining that correctly.

Like Nix explained, they upgraded both to give the car a "better" feel. The Honda spec sheets the measurements for 2012 were F 18 / R 15. And the 2013 is F 21 / R 18.

I think Honda wanted the 13 to handle flatter in corners (the 12 wallowed in turns) without lowering the car, so that it could still carry a load of 4 or 5 people without being down on its springs.

So they're maintaining a 3mm difference r to f just boosting the strength...... cool, that makes it easier to figure out the ratio wanted for the 2013's.
