I'd think the justification for having them would have more to do with a racing benefit, as apposed to street use even if aggressive.
Now if(no pic's) they look good from just opening the hood then it would seem a nice addition for us peeps that like that stuff..... If you like 'em .........

Ok, thanks, Webby! That answers it. I was thinking the crank pulley also was specially weighted as a harmonic balancer. I'll leave it alone.
