Call of Duty: Black Ops
Created by Treyarch this next installment was a huge success when it was released November 2010. Most of you know the first DLC map pack "First Strike" was first released on 2/1/2011 on Xbox, then on 3/1/2011 for PS3. It was recently announced that the second map pack named "Escalation" is set for Xbox release on 5/3/2011 and I would assume PS3 will be released 30 days later on 6/3/2011.
Infinity Ward, who is behind the series has created a couple monsters with alternating yearly releases created by Activision and Treyarch. Treyarch is tired of taking the backseat to Activision so it stepped up its game with Black Ops making it the most popular best selling video game. Activision shocked the gaming world when it released Modern Warfare 2, which at the time was the most anticipated game ever and basically reinvented the multiplayer platform. Activision released two map packs as well on similar dates: The first map pack "Stimulus Package" included the maps Bailout, Storm, Salvage, Crash, and Overgrown. Three months later the second map pack "Resurgence Pack" was released featuring the maps Carnival, Fuel, Trailer Park, Strike, and Vacant.
Not to be outdone after smacking Activision, Treyarch is releasing 2 map packs as well. Each include 4 multiplayer levels and 1 zombie level. Description of new maps are listed below. Also, check out the video that was released on 4/18/2011.
(DLC-1 First Strike)
Kowloon - Kowloon city in China features zip lines for quick escapes.
Discovery - Antarctic research station, old WWII German outpost.
Berlin Wall - East Berlin vs. West Berlin, large map w/ auto turrets.
Stadium - Close quarter combat designed facility.
Ascension - New Zombie Map!

Zoo - Old Soviet abondoned zoo.
Hotel - Resembles vistas in Havana features interactive elevators to lock down and sniper enemies from above.
Convoy - Based on the fear of a Soviet invasion.
Stockpile - Suburban soviet village features interactive garage doors to lock down house.
