Well I guess it was only a matter of time before something would happen. I ran into the rear end of a Sentra and damaged my bumper. It isn't too bad but I am debating whether to replace the whole thing or just have it buffed out.
Sorry man. It looks like the black fog light surround is broken maybe? It also looks like the plastic bumper is actually gouged in at least a few places from the pic? I can't tell 100% what's damage and what's paint transfer from the other car. I'd prob wash it up and try some light rubbing compound on the dark black streaks. Apply it by hand and it should remove that. Then you can see what is actually damaged.
The black should come off, but the gouges are the problem. It also looks like the bumper has crease. You can order the black fog light piece from @CollegeHillsHonda. I'm not sure how much a new bumper would cost you, but remember it would also have to be painted.
I would bring your car in to a couple Pro paint shops and get estimates. I'm guessing about $500 to fix that, plus the cost of the black piece.
Yeah once I cleaned up the scuffs it didn't look too bad. My headlight bracket is damaged but I was looking to replace the headlights with some projector headlights anyway. It's definitely drivable so I'm not too stressed out; it just sucks because my car WAS flawless. My deductible is 500 so this will be a fix that I will take my time on. That brings me to my question. Does anyone know of any good looking bumpers that I could use as a replacement?
Collegehillshondaparts.com will have discounted parts. That's where you could get a replacement bumper most likely cheaper than any local dealership. I doubt there are any aftermarket options available. The coupes are really only available around North America. Sedans are found overseas where most kits are made.
