Dar-Dar's Fiji Blue 2007 Civic Si

Okay here we go!

This is the day when I picked it up. I believe it was April 2007:

I rarely did much on the car between the beginning and 2011 (the boring years). I only installed an Injen CAI, DDM Tuning 9006 6000K HIDs, SuperbrightLEDs dome lights and clear fog light kit.

Sept. 2011: I installed EBC Redstuff Brake Pads, JDM Yellow Fog Light Kit paired with 102 SMD LED H11 bulbs.

I really didn't like the look since it wasn't that bright.

Nov. 2011: I fully detailed my car and decided to take a photoshoot with my friend's GLI.

Then the unthinkable happened. This happened two weeks after the photoshoot.

It was a very rainy day and my car lost control at only 45mph. When I hit the brakes, it didn't stop and just kept sliding causing me to rear end someone. That someone was my friend. I was following him to go to his house. Luckily, my insurance company was able to pay for the repair on both cars (my car took a bad hit and I thought it was totaled). My car then sat in the body shop for at least two months.

Here she is in the shop waiting for me.

First thing I did when I drove it back home was re-flip the license plate the way it was before. Lol. I also had the LED bulbs changed to regular Sylvania halogen bulbs.

I then plasti-dipped the lower portion of the top grille.

Blue Godspeed Camber Arms. I'm missing a few pieces so I contacted Cambodianricer from 8thcivic to help me get them. He's part of the Godspeed Project. Good guy too.

These will be installed together with my Tanabe Springs, which I'm still waiting for, when it gets a bit warmer. Lol.

I'm also working on a custom 3.5" intake using the stock maf housing. Since I got rid of Flashpro and the Rickspec'd CAI, I'm missing the sound from the 3.5" intake. Lol. It won't be a true 3.5" intake bc of the MAF housing.

Fiji Blue is a very special color. It sucks that it only lasted for 3 years (same as Habi, but I like Fiji much more ).

It turns out that UPS is returning the Springs back to the seller. Wth? I requested to pick up the springs on a UPS store location, but I never received any updates from the eBay page. The eBay page only showed that the package left CA and never arrived here. I only noticed that it was in NJ when I went to UPS directly to look at the tracking number. I thought if the product doesn't get picked up, it should go to my address. I wanted to do store pickup because no one was home last weekend and I didn't want to risk the package to be sitting outside for 3 days. Now I'm waiting to see if the seller can reroute the delivery directly to my house. I can't do it bc I would need to have a membership for UPS which require some payment. I'm not paying for that. Lol.

Well, I'm not too worried about the springs. It's just that it will travel across the country 2 more times.

I hope the seller doesn't charge me extra. Ebay's tracking notification is horrible.

'07 Fiji Si Coupe would have been what I would have bought if I didn't get my '07 WRX back in May 2007. I was looking at the '07 Fiji Si Coupe, '07 WRX, '07 STi (insurance was too high), '07 G35 and '07 350Z's.

I of course ended up with the '07 WRX that I've had since May 2007.
