Exhaust help

Soo my invidia n1 catback came loose in the middle on the highway and the gasket fell off too! Well to my luck no auto part store here seems to have an aluminum 2 bolt exhaust flange gasket soo now I'm basically running it without the gasket. Invidia gives you spare bolts but no spare gaskets. Soo do I have to order through them? And can I even run the car without the gasket?

you should have a loss in power without the gasket/leak. I'd pm some of the vendors here to see if they have the ability to ship you one. If they can't, you may have to go direct to invidia.

That's fine! I'm overnighting it any ways I just don't want to mess the car up running it without the gasket

I mean it doesn't have to be the exact gasket from invidia right? I can't find it anywhere. Not even through invidia's website.

As long as it's a 3" gasket you can use any brand. You said 2 bolt right? And the invidia is a 3" exhaust? Then you can use this

I didn't get the 3" unfortunately mine is 2.75"

Well I bought it anyways. It's same size as my catback piping and 2 bolt like the one I lost. Looks just like it too

As long as it's the same size and bolt pattern, a gasket is a gasket, nothing really special about them. It'll work.

Try going to Autozone. I was able to buy a few of the gaskets that are the same material and look as what After Market systems come with. If you call sometimes they don't know what you're trying to ask about. Show them a picture on your phone. But try and see if it's one of the main stores. Some have more inventory than others. Hope this helps.

Anyone know the cat flange bolt/lock nut size? I think it's 14mm head, 10mm thread, 25 mm length???
