Hasport Rear Motor Mount Installation Problem

Hi All,
I just installed my Hasport rear motor mount on my 15 Si. There appears to be gaps between the plate and the engine (pic 2,3) while the center hole is perfectly aligned (pic 1). Everything has been hand tightened for future adjustment. Does anyone have the same problem? Thanks!!

I don't remember having any gaps when I installed mine. I would just carefully tighten down all of the fasteners until the gap is gone. The block is aluminum so you will need to be careful not to strip the threads. If it's too much you could always put an appropriately sized washer behind the plate to fill the gap.

You could shoot the pictures to hasport as well.

Thanks for advise. I fixed the problem by pulling the engine towards the back of car while tightening all bolts a little bit at a time in a x pattern . Now the gaps are gone. I will update on the ride quality sometime later. Cheers!!

I was going to say, it sounds like the mount is going to pull the engine back a little bit when you torque the bolts down.
The stock mounts are pretty soft so they will easily give as you tighten the Hasport mount.
