I just got a 2014 Civic Si, but my amplifier can't accept differential outputs and I don't feel like buying a new amp so I'm thinking of getting an AudioControl LC7i and setting it for channel summing. I need advice on how to connect it. From my understanding (correct me if I'm wrong) the front speakers have the highs going to the tweeters and the rears speakers have the lows going to the factory subwoofer using the crossovers built in to the factory amplifier. So should I wire the tweeters, rear speakers, and factory sub to the LC7i or the front, rear, and factory sub? Also how should I connect the factory sub wires since its only one pair. Should I split the wires and connect them to the LC7i or should I just connect them to the left or right channels? Also if you have any other solution that might be easier than this I'm all ears.

I also have a LC6i, per audio control I was told to connect the front door speaker as the main channel, tweeter as 2nd and rear deck speakers as 3rd and sum channels 1 and 2 for full frequency. i'll hopefully be wrapping up my entire system upgrade with in the next 2 weeks and ill do a write up in how to install a Audio Control LC6i,7,8 etc

Not a whole lot of interest in this so I didn't see a need to do a complete write up/how to plus I am by no means a professional. Basically I installed a LC6i this past weekend, I tapped into the output side of the factory amp harness. I pulled signal for both front tweeters and door speakers right off the amp, for the rear deck I just pulled right from the rear deck down to the Lc6i. thanks to a few forum members for posting the wiring diagrams, I didn't take a lot of pictures and I still have a few more to post. per audio controls suggestions I hooked the front tweeters up as the "main input" the front doors as the "2nd" and rear deck as "3rd" summing the main and number 2 channels. I have a Rockford 4 channel and a Rockford mono with all punch series speakers. for a beginner install/audio set up I am very happy with sound quality, I did use a complete Rockford wiring kit and sky high speaker wire from the factory amp to the Lc6i. any questions or suggestions feel free to ask or leave them. thanks joes phone 006.jpg joes phone 007.jpg joes phone 008.jpg joes phone 009.jpg joes phone 010.jpg
