Honda SI verses Focus ST?

I looked at a Mazda Spped 3, Focus ST and Subaru STI and after I settled happily on the SI I looked at a few forums. When looking at the Focus Forum, these cars have over 60 more horsepower, they admitt it was close when they ran against an SI. Than they listed all the reasons the Focus was better. I tried to join the forum to discuss the SI's reliability, the smooth transition of nonturboed power and the ability to stay close with 25 percent less power, I never got an email to activate my ability to post? Anyone hear who owns an SI have the same block?

I'd avoid trying to post there, as they will most likely not find your company friendly. People can get pretty nasty/defensive if you try to explain why your car is good/better than theirs.
