Nav Screen Goes Black Intermittently in reverse

I've had the car for just over 6 months now and this has happened three times.

When I put the car in reverse, the Nav screen normally switches to the backup camera. This morning instead of seeing the backup camera, the screen just went black. I put the car back in neutral and the screen stayed black. The unit seems unresponsive. No buttons seem to do anything. If I shut the car off and turn it back on, the Nav unit works as it should.

I'll have it looked at the next time I take it for service and I'm not sure what response I'll get as it's very intermittent (3 times over 6 monts). I was just curious if anyone else had seen the same issue.

Has the car been in the cold when it's happened?

The car has been cold since October. Lol.

Yes, it started in the fall when it cooled down. Each time it's happened though, the car has been running for around 40 mins so it should be warmed up.

Had that happen also. It's probably the cold weather.

It happened again yesterday morning. The first time since I posted this originally so it's very intermittent. It was cold again so I guess it has to do with that. It has been very cold all winter though so you'd think it would be more consistent.

Let's keep note of it during summer. And see if it happens.
