Nissan 350z Highway Wreck - Street Race?

Check out that still shot (!) Wet roads + supercharger = thank god the wires did what they are supposed to do. Everyone walked away, minus the silver 350z. It actually went through the wires (under 2, over 1). -They were not street racing-. I was behind them in my g35 for miles in a group, we were all cruising @ the speed limit (70mph). The vortech supercharged black Z tapped the gas and broke loose the brand new tires.

You can hear the car hit the gas or rev it's engine prior to hitting the car in the passing lane. You think they were about to race, or no?

I think they were about to do a pull. Maybe not a serious street race, but the 350Z on the right was about to go. I was on the same road that day on my way to Wrong Fitment, and it was not wet enough to spin the tires at 70 mph by "tapping" the gas. You can hear the car revving, then revs drop and a second later the car is spinning.

Maybe the tires needed to be replaced sooner?

I saw some pictures of the convertible after the wreck. The car had a full roll cage. I doubt he planned on needing that on that day

Agreed...usually when normal people are on their way to a meet in a group you keep to one side and let traffic pass you if needed. I call BS on the "they weren't gonna race" thing
