Hey I plastidipped my wheels and want to safely paint just the center cap and was wondering the best way to isolate it from the rest of the wheel. Thanks!

Ya I guess I didn't word that very well haha but I want to know the safest way to paint the center cap without getting any paint on the rest of the wheel. And if I already dipped them, if I just cut the rubber around the center cap it won't make the rest of the dip to peel right? And what's the safest way to take the center cap off?

So you dipped the wheels with the center caps still in the wheel? Any reason for not just leaving them dipped? If you really want them out, I'd pull the wheel off the car. Push the cap out from the back side of the rim. If you try to pry the cap out from the front now, you'll probably make a mess of the plastidip. That's my guess.

Pics of what it looks like right now? That may help

The wheels look kind of bland so I was looking to spray paint the H emblem in red on the center cap to help make it stand out a little bit
