Quick question for College Hills Honda.

I was just at a local Honda dealer and looked at a 2013 LX coupe, what i need to ask is it had a trunk lid insulator where my 2012 LX coupe doesn't. I couldn't get a part number and the parts counter was closed and was wondering if you guys had a part number on this?

Thanks Jason but this is for a 2dr Civic, I was at a local Honda dealer and looked at a 2013 LX 2dr coupe and it had a trunk lid insulator where the 2012 2dr coupes don't.

EDIT: I'm not seeing any part numbers for it on a Coupe.

My bad...I guess I didn't realize the goal was putting a 13 liner in a 12.

I haven't tried putting the insulator from the 2013 in the 2012 but I think it would be possible. Some drilling may need to be involved.

There is an insulator on the 13 coupe but no holes in the trunk lid to snap them to on a 2012. If you don't mind making holes I'm sure you can get it to work. You will need the following.

Thanks.......that material is moulded so would be very difficult to make. Some sort of Dynamat material would perhaps be a less expensive solution. I think there is a company that sells a product that is grey or black. Silver is too much for me.

Ya, the sound proofing material used especially for stereo systems. Don't have it, but have seen it used often. Search Dynamat on Google and check images. You will see all silver, but there is another similar material in black and/or grey too.
